Have you ever wanted to live an active and healthy life, as well as an improvement in grades? I believe youth sports will help all of those problems and many more. Most sports are team sports that also teach your child teamwork. Playing youth sports is a terrific experience for you or your child. There are many reasons why I feel that children should play youth sports. One of those reasons is, sports keeps kids out of the fridge and on to the field! In a study titled “Why Should Children Play Sports?” written by Amanda Davis states “Sports participation promotes health and wellness not only through childhood but throughout a child's lifetime. Sports such as swimming and golf are especially beneficial because the child can continue to play as an adult, benefiting from the physical activity. Youth football is a sport that is played in various places, many people think that it is not dangerous and kids should be able to play, while others think that this sport is too dangerous and should not be played. Based off of all the evidence that I have found through research, it has let me to agreeing with the fact that youth football is too dangerous for young children to be playing. This sport has pros to it, some of which are very good, but the con side outways it with extraordinary pieces of evidence, these are the things showing that this sport is not to be played at this age and overall. There are a few pieces of evidence and facts that show proof of why it is dangerous and why this can’t be stopped. Some of the reasons are very serious, such as CTE which is a brain disease caused by rapid hits to the brain, this has lifetime affects and changes you in many ways, in worst cases this can even cause death.
